AGES 13–17 · INTERMEDIATE BIBLE STUDY

Before You Enrol
Please Think Carefully

This course may not be for everyone.

This is not an easy click-through Bible course. It teaches a real skill:

how to study the Bible carefully for yourself.

The course asks something real from you because it is trying to give you something lasting.

Choose the right starting point

Is This the Right EnjoyBible Course for You?

Choose by learning readiness, not simply by how much Bible study experience you already have.

Foundational Course

Choose the gentler starting point if you prefer shorter activities, simpler instructions, and more support before attempting sustained notebook-based study. It is gentler, not childish.

Ages 13–17 · This Course
THIS COURSE

Choose this course if you are ready to read carefully, write in a PBS Notebook, practise, check your work, revise, and gradually work more independently.

Older Learner?

If you want a more mature learning environment with longer and more independent study, choose the EnjoyBible course designed for older learners.

Know what you are choosing

Some Parts May Feel Difficult. That Is Part of Learning the Skill.

At times the course may feel slow, repetitive, demanding, difficult, or even boring. You may reread the same passage, rewrite an answer, or discover that your first conclusion was weak. The difficulty is not the goal. The skill is.

You will reread passages several times.

This trains you to notice what quick reading misses.

You will write, check, and sometimes rewrite.

This teaches you to test ideas against Scripture instead of trusting your first impression.

Some practice will feel repetitive.

Repetition helps the method become a habit you can later use without prompts.

You will not always receive the answer immediately.

You learn to think from the passage before opening clues, examples, AI, or other outside help.

The course takes about 15 hours.

The course will finish. The skill can continue serving your Bible study for years.

Lessons open in sequence.

You cannot simply jump to random pages. Each stage prepares the skill needed for the next one.

Why ask this much? Because the aim is not merely to finish another online course. The aim is to help you open a Bible passage and know how to study it carefully for yourself.

What studying will actually look like

You Will Do More Than Read the Screen

Keep your Bible and PBS Notebook beside you. A typical study rhythm is:

READ AGAIN NOTICE MARK WRITE CONNECT CHECK REVISE
Course → Bible → PBS Notebook → Course
Checking or revising may send you back to the passage again.
Know this before you enrol

There Is a Required Final Open-Book Course Review

You will not finish simply by reaching the last page. At the end, you must complete and pass the Open-Book Course Review.

30
auto-graded questions
100
total marks
60%
passing grade
45–60 min
suggested time
2
attempts

This is not a speed-memory test. You may use your Bible, PBS Notebook, Micah record, Jonah record, and course pages. The review checks whether you can recognise and use the method you have practised.

No certificate is awarded. The final review is there to confirm learning, not to earn a certificate. The real outcome is the Bible-study skill itself.

Your Honest Self-Check

Before You Enrol · Can You Say Yes?

Please do not enrol simply because the course looks interesting. Enrol if you are genuinely willing to do the work required to learn the skill.

I am willing to spend about 15 hours learning and practising this skill.

I can make serious study periods, often around 30–45 minutes, and return after a Learning Break when needed.

I am willing to use a Bible and PBS Notebook, not simply read or scroll through the screen.

I am willing to reread, mark, write, connect, check, and revise, even when practice feels slow or repetitive.

I will make my own Bible-based attempt first before turning to AI, model answers, videos, commentaries, or another person for help.

I understand that the lessons follow a guided sequence and are not meant to be opened randomly.

I am willing to complete the required final Open-Book Course Review and reach the 60% passing grade.

I understand that there is no certificate. I still want to learn the skill.

This course is probably not the right choice for you now if...
  1. You are looking for quick devotional thoughts without much study.
  2. You prefer not to write or review your own work.
  3. You want AI, videos, teachers, or model answers to handle most of the thinking.
  4. You want to skip around to only the lessons that interest you.
  5. You are mainly interested in getting a certificate. Or you do not want to finish the final review.

Not ready yet? Start with a gentler EnjoyBible course and return later. Choosing a more suitable starting point is better than enrolling enthusiastically and leaving the course unfinished.

If you are ready

The Course Is Demanding, but You Are Not Left Without Support

The support is designed to help you keep going while still protecting the most important part of the course: your own careful work with the Bible.

Self-Paced

Fit study around schoolwork and real responsibilities. You can pause and return without losing the learning journey.

Learning Breaks

Longer pages include safe stopping points so you can complete a meaningful block, pause, and continue later.

Clear Instructions + Mind Maps

New skills begin with specific guidance about what to do, what to write, and how to check. Where useful, mind maps and visual guides help you see how ideas and Bible-study steps connect.

Co-Learners Along the Way

Ayaan, Tara, Joel, and Meera learn alongside you. Their questions, mistakes, and discoveries help make difficult ideas easier to recognise without doing your work for you.

Optional Clues and Checks

When a task is difficult, appropriate clues, checks, and worked examples are available after your own genuine attempt.

Team EnjoyBible Is Available

If an instruction is unclear, Team EnjoyBible can help clarify it through a WhatsApp message or email. We can guide you, but we will not do the Bible study for you.

Why Might the Effort Be Worth It?

Careful personal Bible study can help you understand Scripture more faithfully, recognise unsupported ideas, respond more wisely, deepen your life with God, and gradually develop a biblical way of seeing life.

School will finish. Examinations will finish. This course will finish. The ability to study Scripture carefully for yourself can continue for decades.

YOUR DECISION

Are You Ready to Begin?

You do not need to be an expert. You do not need extensive Bible knowledge. You do need to be willing to practise.

“I understand that this course may sometimes feel slow, repetitive, demanding, difficult, or even boring. I will need to read carefully, write, think, check, and revise. I am willing to make my own attempt before looking for answers. I understand that I must complete and pass the final Open-Book Course Review. There is no certificate. I still genuinely want to learn how to study the Bible carefully for myself.”

If you cannot sincerely say this yet, please do not enrol now. Start more gently and return when you are ready.

If you can say it sincerely, you are ready to begin.
